The World's Forgotten Fishes

Writer: Taw Fishing ClubTaw Fishing Club

A powerful conservation message in a great document with amazing photography. This is something worth sharing.

"Freshwater fishes, in all their dazzling diversity, have been forgotten for too long. I hope that when you read this report you’ll agree, and that together we can pull them back from the brink."

Andrew, The figure that 85% of Tanzania's fish catch came from freshwaters stared out at me. Tanzania borders the Indian ocean and when I lived there as a volunteer (VSO) in the early 1970s the seas were a huge source of animal protein. Thank you for the report. Gordon
