River Taw Fisheries Association

The RTFA helps protect the river from the ever present threats from pollution, water abstraction, disease and poaching and seeks to find and implement the most effective methods of maintaining and improving our stocks of salmon.

Fish Legal

Founded in 1948, Fish Legal is a membership association using the law to protect fish stocks and the rights of its members throughout the UK. It is united in a collaborative relationship with the Angling Trust, the national representative and governing body for angling in England. 

West Country Rivers Trust

A charity working to restore and protect the rivers, lakes, estuaries and coastal areas for the benefit of people, wildlife and the local economy. Working with local communities, businesses and other environmental organisations to bring lost and forgotten rivers back to life

Fisheries Improvement Programme

A partnership between WRT, the Environment Agency, land owners and anglers, the project aims to improve the existing habitat for wildlife on sites along the Culm (Devon), Tresillian (Cornwall) and the Fal (Cornwall).

The Wild Trout Trust

A conservation charity that focuses on practical work to improve habitat for trout across the UK and Ireland.

The Environment Agency

A non-departmental public body, established in 1995 and sponsored by the UK government 's Dept for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, with responsibilities relating to the protection and enhancement of the environment in England.

Wildfish

the UK’s only independent charity campaigning for wild fish and their environment

Barbless Flies

Hand tied flies using quality materials on barbless fly fishing hooks. Used by many TFC members, these flies have been fished successfully and have found to be long lasting and excellent imitations.

Riverfly Partnership

A dynamic network of organisations, representing anglers, conservationists, entomologists, scientists, water course managers and relevant authorities, working together to protect the water quality of our rivers, further the understanding of riverfly populations and actively conserve riverfly habitats.

Angling Trust

The representative body for game, coarse and sea anglers in England and Wales. Our members support the campaigns and legal action carried out to protect fish stocks and programmes to increase the number of anglers fishing for fun and in competitions.

Devon Wildlife Trust

Devon's only charity that exists to protect Devon's wildlife and natural environment. Our VISION is for a Devon that is rich in all wildlife, where people enjoy and care about the natural world and take steps to safeguard it for the future.
