April evening Bank Maintenance

Following a very successful, albeint rather flooded first bank day of the year, our second meeting will be on Thursday 14 April We’ll meet at 5:30. Please be prompt as it’s soon dusk, and we’ll work until we lose the light, probably around 8pm. We’ll meet in the field by Coldridge Bridge (W3W acclaim.fewer.width). Depending on numbers we’ll work US and DS from the bridge, clearing last year’s growth and some of the smaller fallen trees in the river (Ashley and I will work with Anthony Bailey another evening on some of the larger bits). Please bring loppers, hand saws and pole saws if you have them. Waders are probably sensible. We’ll see how folk are feeling at the end of the evening and perhaps adjourn to a local pub for a beer and catch-up. Please RSVP
