Size 18 silver tungsten 2.mm beaded nymph with sparkly purple body with sparse cdc wrap with two coq de Leon tail fibres.. I can’t really give it an imitative name but often works for me.

Elk Hair Caddis
Fished from 7.30 - 9.30 pm, temperature a bit cooler this evening and more fish activity, 4 of the six caught at taw/little dart junction pool (2 of these over 12 inches) would have liked to continue but light went.

Green Drake Wulff (size 16). Both hooked at very front of mouth, missed a few splashy rises. A few mayfly on the wing but not much activity before I left at 1800.

Elk Hair Caddis
Fished below the bridge between 8.30 & 9.45pm, very warm and humid (still 20c at 10pm) fish just started to rise as the light was going, only 2 today but both were close to 12 inches. I think it’s going to have to be early mornings until it’s cooler

Fished for 3 hours, 1 below the bridge and 2 above. Water very dirty but levels hardly moved, surprisingly all fish caught on bushy white mayfly.
