Pleasant 3 hours at Hawkridge this afternoon, river coming down nicely and reasonably clear, many obstacles cleared with winter spates.

Lovely few hours on the river. Lost an absolute stonker in the first ten minutes. Fishing the smooth steady water with a small cdc quill pattern worked well. Saw a salmon move in the long deep section below the second cattle crossing.
